STEP 5 - FINISHING
Now that we have gone through each of the 4 previous steps, much like a remodel we must bring closure to it. This is accomplished through the finishing touches such as painting as my kids are doing in the pictures. I had a similar experience when writing the Position Papers in EDU 519 and then a refined presentation of an Emerging Technology which brought us to our Prediction Paper which was the finishing touches of our Ed Tech program. Using the knowledge and growth gained throughout my experience to "paint the walls" of the future for technology in education. And the true "Finish" ing touch is the creation of this CD PORTFOLIO and its duplicate Web version. As in every remodel finishing the project does not mean putting the tools away forever. Again with this program I have gained new tools and new skill sets that I can take into my professional career such that each day and each new lesson is like a remodel. I can take the growth I have experienced over the last two years and implement the Preparation, Demolition, Design, Build, and Finishing into my daily teaching.
